Theory gives a good insight into the music which we play. I try to keep theory lessons at the same level as practical grades wherever possible.
I teach mainly to grade 5 theory but will teach grades 6-8 on request.
I particularly specialise in teaching pupils who have never done any theory, such as pupils who are learning an instrument at school, and need to pass grade 5 theory to progress with their practical exams.
