Training the ear to listen is an important skill for pupils to learn for exams. It is a subject that pupils either find easy or difficult however musical they are.
I have developed a system for learning how to do these exercises and I teach from beginner up to diploma standard. Quite often the answer is acheived by knowing how to work the answer out rather than having talent at aurals. There is a series of aural material available for pupils to hire so that daily practice can take place at home.
